Characteristic

  • Disc Spring's stored energy per unit volume is greater than that of Coil Spring.
  • Disc Spring has excellent load capacity in a small space thanks to its short stroke.
  • Disk Spring has excellent durability and shock mitigating ability as long as it is used within the admissible stress range. If it is used in conjunction with springs, it shows excellent buering eect.
  • For load displacement characteristics, users can select between linear and non-linear characteristics acording to the intended use.
  • Spring characteristics can be controlled by increasing/decreasing the number of disk springs, and changing combination methods (i.e. serial, parallel and serial-parallel combination)
